Below is a list of upcoming planned events and special projects.

• Restoration work on 1901 Laclede car #59 and 1919 Birney car #135 (formerly Ft. Collins Car #22). Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM at the Car Barn.
• Tours of the Car Barn and Museum and rides on the restored 1947 PCC car. Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM, or by appointment at the Car Barn during the week.
• Rock Island Days - a two day celebration of the areas Rock Island Railroad Heritage
• Volunteer recruitment for restoration (e.g. wood and metal working, electrical), clerical, administrative, and maintenance skills. Ongoing.
• Planning for fund-raising campaign: donor contact, marketing, publicity, record-keeping. Ongoing.
• Acquisition of shop tools and equipment for restoration work, materials handling and transportation equipment, and system supplies (track, poles, wire) for construction. Ongoing.
• Donation of in-kind services of various kinds for Carbarn operations, system construction. Ongoing.
• Requirement for financial/marketing studies and plans. Ongoing.
